What is the Hymen?
The hymen, also known as virginal membrane is a part of the normal female body.
The hymen is a tight or loose and flexible rim, fringe of tissue around the vaginal opening that partly covers the entrance to the vagina.
Typically, the hymen has a vaginal opening or openings necessary for the regular functioning of the organism.
