The vaginal opening tight but the vaginal discharge can evacuate safely; continuity of the thick, inelastic rim; no scarring, attenuation seen; no notches, clefts, bumps seen; strong vascular network may be a reason for noticeable bleeding if the nuptial defloration finally proves successful.

Intact hymen and carina urethralis vaginae
continuity of the hymenal rim, smooth, non-interrupted rim of hymen; persistent dilatation?
no scarring, attenuation seen; minute notches, no clefts seen;
the lower part of the anterior column of the vagina, in relation with the urethra, resembling the keel of a ship (thus Latin: carina urethralis vaginae, carina vaginae) might be confused with hymenal mound at 12 o'clock which could be a remnant of the hymenal septum;
an inadequate view of the hymen due to wrong viewing angle and insufficient labial traction applied may result in an increased risk of a Type I error ( see Virginity Testing )
