Dating while ovulating is just like drunk driving.
The best way to escape unwanted consequences of hormonal influence on sexual behaviour is to postpone dating to some term other than critical day of the menstrual cycle. As mentioned above, [Page 1] the ovulation induced sexuality control deficit disorder (OISCDD) has large but short-term hazard potential of sexual misbehaviour and can be easily avoided if taken into account.
What are the signs and symptoms of ovulation?
Method # 1
Soon before ovulation: increasing sexual urges and attractiveness
Ovulation: sexual urges and attractiveness at the highest point, midcycyle pain, spotting
Method # 2
Checking cervical fluid aka cervical mucus by wiping the vaginal vestibule with toilet paper, folded, not crumpled, before and after urination, or just by inspecting underwear.
Is there a reliable and cheap device to detect ovulation easily
Soon before ovulation: creamy like lotion
Ovulation: slippery, like raw egg white, stretchy, copious enough to show on the underwear but it is NOT kind of fluid wetting panties due to spontaneous vaginal lubrication.

Menstrual cycle: procreational in mature women, preparatory in girls
without any mess?
Soon before ovulation the salt content in the cervical mucus rises. The salt crystals that form in dried cervical mucus have more and more fern-like structure. This can be detected by placing a sample of cervical mucus on a glass, letting it dry, and observing under magnification. The ovulational ferning occurs in some other body fluids. Instead of cervical mucus, saliva may be used allowing observation much easier without any mess.
Observe saliva ferning to predict ovulation.
Predicted ovulation day makes the future less unpredictable.
Dr Georgios Papanikolaou is declared the greatest benefactor of humanity for inventing the Pap test and thus saving lives of women infected with cervical cancer by their promiscuous lovers and husbands. To this prophylaxis should be added prevention based on dr Papanikolaou's discovery of the ferning pattern in dried cervical mucus soon before and during ovulation. Now we know that the same pattern is observable in saliva, and thanks to dr José María Biel Casals and his lipstick-size microscope, the adverse consequences of the ovulation induced sexuality control deficit disorder (OISCDD) can be avoided and save even more lives.
